Sat in a corner.
With some xenon gas in a tube.
“They say it’s a fact
This gas won’t react.
But I wonder if that’s really true.”

To this noble gas xenon,
Little Jack piped in
Some platinum hexafluoride.
To his satisfaction,
He saw a reaction.
“Xenon’s not an inert gas,” he cried.
