Helium
Mary had some helium.
It had no taste or smell.
It would not burn, it was inert,
As far as she could tell.
She put some in a little glass,
But soon it disappeared.
And Mary said, “I think this gas
Is lighter than the air.”
Then Mary got a big balloon.
She wanted it to fly.
She filled it with the helium
And launched it to the sky.
